Specialist online accounting for restaurants

Do you run a restaurant, bar, food truck or catering business? Our accounting for restaurants is tailored to the realities of the trade: daily takings from the fiscal cash register, mixed VAT rates, tips, stock losses and settlements with delivery apps. Instead of wrestling with receipts after closing time, you send your documents through the Client panel and get back to what you do best - your guests and your kitchen.

This is an accounting firm for restaurants and other venues where your finances are handled by an experienced accountant, not just an app. We combine the convenience of online accounting with genuine human support: we compare the forms of taxation on your figures, keep an eye on deadlines and translate the numbers into language you understand. You send documents through the Client panel, and we keep your books accurately and on time.

Who is this accounting service for?

Restaurants and bars

Venues selling on-site, for takeaway and delivery, with a fiscal cash register, a menu and mixed VAT rates on food and drinks.

Food trucks and small catering

Mobile outlets, cafes, ice-cream parlours and bistros - often seasonal, with many small transactions and turnover that varies through the year.

Catering and delivery

Catering companies and venues operating through Pyszne, Glovo or Uber Eats, which need to account correctly for platform commissions and invoices.

What does accounting for restaurants cover?

Fiscal cash register settlement

We post daily and monthly reports from the fiscal cash register, keep on top of record-keeping obligations and reconcile cash sales with card sales into a single whole.

VAT at 8% and 23%

We split sales into the correct VAT rates - usually 8% on catering services and 23% on some drinks and alcohol - and prepare JPK_V7 files (the standard VAT audit file).

Delivery apps

We account for sales and commissions from Pyszne, Glovo or Uber Eats, reconcile platform receipts and record them correctly in both revenue and costs.

Stock and stocktaking

We post purchases of ingredients and goods, help record wastage and losses, and support you with stocktakes that clarify the picture of your margin.

Payroll and seasonality

We handle employment and contract-of-mandate agreements, including seasonal staff, and calculate wages, ZUS social-security contributions and income-tax advances for your team.

Taxes and form of taxation

We compare the forms of taxation available to your restaurant, calculate tax advances and contributions, and remind you of deadlines well in advance.

Why do restaurants choose Luno-Group?

You get a regular, experienced accountant who knows the specifics of the restaurant trade - fiscal cash registers, mixed VAT, tips, wastage and delivery-app commissions. We work fully online (PL / EN), so you send documents through the Client panel with no queues, while we keep on top of deadlines, explain the available reliefs and deductions and answer your questions in plain language. It is the support of a regular accountant combined with the convenience of a modern online accounting firm.

Frequently asked questions

Before you entrust us with your venue's books.

Do I need a fiscal cash register in catering?+

As a rule, the sale of catering services to private individuals is subject to recording on a fiscal cash register. The situation depends, however, on your form of activity and the type of sales, so we will check your case and present a solution.

What VAT rate applies to catering?+

Catering services are usually subject to the 8% rate, but some drinks, including alcohol, may be taxed at 23%. Sales therefore have to be split correctly. We help set up your records so that VAT rates are applied properly and without the risk of errors.

Can I settle catering under the lump-sum tax?+

The lump-sum tax (ryczalt, a flat-rate tax on recorded revenue) for catering services usually applies at a low rate, but the sale of alcohol may be excluded or taxed differently, and eligibility depends on the revenue limit and type of activity. We compare the forms individually, after analysing your venue, and show you the numbers - the decision is yours.

How do you settle sales from Pyszne, Glovo or Uber Eats?+

We account for sales through delivery apps based on the platforms' statements, record revenue and commissions, and reconcile the actual receipts to your account. As a result, delivery turnover is correctly shown in revenue and costs, and you have a clear picture of that part of the business.

How do I submit documents if we work online?+

Exclusively electronically, through a dedicated client panel that you gain access to once the agreement is signed. There you upload scans, photos or files of invoices and cash-register reports - with no trips to the office and no printing. If you have questions, you contact a regular accountant by e-mail or phone.

Will you handle a seasonal venue or a food truck?+

Yes, we handle both year-round and seasonal activity - food trucks, ice-cream parlours or beach bars. We tailor the scope of service to your variable turnover and help you account for seasonal staff. We agree the details and a quote individually.
